It would suck to crash something you've spent so much on.While that is a "street race", those are not street cars. Cages, parachutes, wheelie bars and slicks are drag strip builds. I can't understand why these guys wouldn't just rent out a strip for a night and run for the cash.

Then negotiate pot, and the racers with spotters run out and find an empty road. Spotters watch for cars and cops and tell the winner if it gets close. Been a loooooong time since then, but it was a blast.
